Same outfit, different Husband

Monday, July 31st, 2006

I had a very strong feeling of deja vu when I saw these happy snaps of Pamela Anderson and her new husband ‘Kid’ Rock.  Is it the same bikini she wore at her first wedding to Tommy Lee?  She has substitued the see-through white sarong for a jaunty sailors cap, but otherwise, it is pretty much a case of “second verse, same as the first, a little bit older and still just as tacky…”  Perhaps she did splash out on a new bikini, and when she is finished with the four or five other ceremonies she has planned to celebrate this union of great minds and bodies not! she will have it drycleaned store it away in her closet next to her other pair.  That way, when her two boys get married, each bride-to-be will have Pammy’s wedding bikini to wear on that special day .

The rapid onset of nuptials makes me wonder if there is a pregnancy in the air - Kid Rock looks like he has a nice little 3-month baby bump developing…

Stop being precious Kate

Kate Hudson

Look, I didn’t want to say anything, but she started it.
Kate Hudson has come out with all guns blazing after successfully suing a UK paper for claiming she has an eating disorder.

She claims that she has regained her svelte figure by running around after her 2 1/2 year old son Ryder all day. Bollocks! She may not have a diagnosed eating disorder, but she obviously has some issues with food.

After most likely counting every single calorie that went into her body prior to her pregnancy, she allowed herself to “enjoy her pregnancy and eat what she wanted”, resulting in a 35 lb weight gain.

I’m sure I read somewhere that she went on a stringent diet and exercise regime soon after his birth to regain her pre-baby figure.

So why not just be honest and say “I have worked my butt off to get my figure back, I do have watch what I eat” like Reese Witherspoon did and stop making all those Mum’s out there miserable because their baby weight is going nowhere fast! We don’t all have personal trainers and chefs at our fingertips.

Stop being so precious, Kate, and have a sandwich, extra mayo.
