Poor Kylie! After bravely battling breast cancer and staging a triumphant come-back, Kyls had to continuously fight off persistent reports that her beau, Olivier Martinez, had long been living up to his womanising reputation. But ’our’ Kyls continued to stand by her man. In November last year Kylie confided to friend and journalist Kathy Lette that Olivier was “the most honourable man I have ever met”.
It seems her opinion may well have radically changed since those comments as the two publically announced their split on Friday. Rumours are now circulating as to just who dumped who and how. British tabloids are fighting it out with conflicting stories, the News of the World suggesting that it was Kylie who made the final call, whilst The Sunday Mirror reports that scoundrel Olivier dumped Kylie over the phone!
Whatever happened, it’s clear that Kylie felt Olivier was there for her when she needed him most through her battle with cancer. Now that they’ve split let’s hope she is strong enough to move onward and upwards to find love and happiness (and hopefully some day soon, motherhood!).
