Thanks for nothing, Channel 9. I cannot find a single internet site that is not discussing that ending to the finale of “The Soprano’s” aired on American TV last night. Yet we poor hapless souls in Australia have been totally dudded yet again. Channel 9 did it’s darndest to kill off Tony Soprano years ago by recklessly and shamelessly showing him no respect and moving the show from time-slot to time-slot, changing days, and sometimes just whipping him off air with no warning. Yet, we stayed loyal to Team Tony, getting our fix where we could (even if we had to download it on BitTorrent).
The buzz is we might see the final series of “The Soprano’s” here in Australia on free-to-air TV in August. C’mon!!! If we can get crap like Survivor within 24 hours of it screening in the US, why not Tony’s moment of truth??? And we would like to see it at a decent time of night, not 3am, if that is not too much to ask…
